Is This Heaven? No, It's Chicago. - Brady

I. had. the. best. 24. hours. in. Chicago. Kevin and I arrived Friday night, set up our little room (which made both of us a lot more excited and relaxed about our commuting arrangement. We feel very sophisticated having our room in the city and our house in the "country."), ordered excellent Thai food with Kelly (has anyone else ever had lime tofu before?????), saw 500 Days of Summer (great movie) at the Landmark Century Cinema, and walked home through our beautiful, fun neighborhood . The next morning, we went to a free yoga class on the Great Lawn in Millennium Park at 8 a.m. The weather was perfect, and it was fantastic to look at the skyline while we worked out. They also played some great music. After that, we ate brunch at Mellow Yellow in Hyde Park and took a long walk through Jackson Park, a site all three of us have been interested in seeing since we read Devil in the White City.

It's hard for me to explain why I love Chicago so much. Describing days like this might be as close as I'll ever get.

  2. I was there on Saturday too! We met a couple of my college friends and ate at Orange. It was a beautiful Chicago day.

You'd probably like it if you haven't been there - http://orangerestaurantchicago.com/orange/html/
