I had a trip to Denver for work this week which resulted in Lucy spending some time in LaPorte. While it has been nice to be dog-free for a few days, I really miss her! I'm headed to pick her up in a few hours and am really excited. Her adjustment to Chicago is taking a little longer than I had expected, but she's starting doggy daycare next week which I think is going to help.
Whew, it's been a weird week and I'm so happy it's Friday!

If you are ever feeling the urge to come out here just to visit, I've always got an extra bedroom you can stay in. I'm about 10 minutes west of downtown Denver, and about 10 minutes east of the foothills. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm actually headed to Chicago tomorrow. Randi Price (not sure if you know her or not) and I are just going to have dinner somewhere fun and then maybe go to a few bar or two. We're actually headed to Indiana for Amanda Dudeck's wedding, and just decided to spend 1 night in Chicago on the way! :)
