Family - Kelly

One of my new favorite TV shows is 'Parenthood'. It actually reminds me a lot of 'Brothers and Sisters'- another show that's been a favorite over the past few years. Both shows are about a set of siblings all living in the same area they grew up in dealing wiht life. Each sibling has their own life, situation, kids, etc and the dynamic between each of the siblings and their parents is unique and interesting.

What I've realized is that I have my own little real-life version of these TV shows going on. I love living so close to my sisters and parents- and I love that we're all involved in each other's lives. We don't have the drama you see in these TV shows (in fact we might be the least dramatic family ever) but the relationships are the same.

Anyway, I won't get all sappy about it - but if you don't live near your siblings you should consider moving closer. And- watch these TV shows. :)
